Art. 2.

Type of event:

The event is open to the Women Elite category.
The race will be run under UCI regulations and this technical guide. The event category is WE 2.2.

Art. 3.

Participation:

All participants must have valid license issued by cycling federation for 2025.
As per article 2.1.005 of the UCI regulations, the event is open to Women UCI teams (Women´s Pro teams, Women´s Continental teams, UCI Cyclo-cross pro teams), National Teams, Regional Teams, Club Teams and Mixed Teams.
As per article 1.2.052 of the UCI regulations each team must have the authorisation permitting the start from its national federation (except from Czech and UCI teams).
As per article 2.2.003 of the UCI regulations, the number of starting riders per team is set to 6 riders (year of birth 2006 and older), a team may not start with less than  riders (Art. 2.2.003 bis). Women of the second year of Junior (year of birth 2007) may be included in these teams, provided they have authorisation from the National Federation that issued their license.

Regulation:

The race will be run under UCI regulations and its guidelines. The race is ridden in partial (floating) closures traffic condition with the regulation at the intersections, however, all participants must comply with the provisions of the Act on Traffic on Roads No. 361/2000 Coll. and its later changes.
Each race participant participates at her own risk, the organiser is not liable for damages incurred by participants or caused by them.
The organiser reserves the right to make necessary changes to the programme in case of unforeseen circumstances.
The team time trial is run during closed road traffic.
All race participants are obliged to respect the instructions of the organisers, Police and Commissaires.
Even though the race takes place on closed roads, in the Czech Republic, as in other European countries, there is obligation to give priority to vehicles of the Integrated Rescue System (such as ambulances, fire and rescue service and police). Saving lives and protecting property comes first. In such cases, riders must give way to these vehicles and to adapt their behaviour on the road to the circumstances regarding their own and others' safety.


Art. 4.

  • on 16.5.2025 between 18:00 - 19:00.
  • on 17.5.2025 between 18:00 - 19:00.
  • on 18.5.2025 between 13:00 - 16:00.

License check and the distribution of identification numbers on 15.5.2025 between 11:00 - 13:00.

Issue of starting numbers :

The identification numbers can be picked up by the official sport director or team manager. Each rider gets the set of bibs (2x dorsal plate numbers, 1x frame number and transponder). Riders shall carry the numbers visibly with no changes.
In team time trial they shall bear just one number and transponder.
It is compulsory to return the transponders and frame numbers in the race office at the end of the race.

Arrival of Teams:

Teams arrival is possible on 14.5.2025, one day beffore.
Riders, including their accompaniment, submit a certificate of health insurance.
 

Accommodation and meals:

It is provided by the organiser at his own expense for registered riders and accompaniment (6 + 4) in a hotel, hostel or boarding house.
Obligations under Act No. 326/1999 Coll. §103 on the stay of foreigners in the territory of the Czech Republic is to submit a travel document or personal identity document for registration before accommodation. Upon refusal, competitors or accompaniment will not be accommodated.
Accommodation and meals begins on 14.5.2025 with dinner and ends on 18.5.2025 with lunch.
The organizer does not provide vegetarian and vegan food. However, specific options can be arranged well in advance, e.g. gluten-free pastries for breakfast.
In case of non-occupancy of the reserved provided accommodation, the costs associated with it, will be paid by team manager during the presentation.

Safety meeting:

Team Managers’, commissaires’ and organisers’ meeting in accordance with article 1.2.087 of the UCI regulations takes place on 15.5.2025 at 13:30 at Dům Českého Švýcarska (House of Bohemian Switzerland) at the square in Krásná Lípa.

The organisers, Police and convoy drivers meeting takes place on 16.5.2025 at 13:00 at Dům Českého Švýcarska (House of Bohemian Switzerland) at the square in Krásná Lípa.


Art. 5.

Team Time Trial:

Starting order will be determined by organisar.
The team's finishing time is determined by the time of the third rider on the finish line.
The starting interval is 2 minutes.
The start is fixed.
Only bikes of the classic type designed for mass start stages are allowed to start.
Disc / attachment  are not allowed.
Riders' attire: aero clothing and accessories are allowed.


Art. 6.

Radio-tour:

Radio-tour is broadcasted at 448,490 MHz frequency. The radios will be available during the riders confirmation at the race office. Everyone is responsible for its battery charging and returns the radios after the race at the race office.

Art. 7.

Neutral service vehicles:

Organiser provides 3 neutral service vehicles MAVIC.


Art. 8.

Time bonuses:

Art. 9.

Time limit:

The time limit in the stage is 12% of the stage winner's time and there is no time limit for the team time trial. The time loss during the mass stage is a maximum of 10 minutes per main group. The floating lock for the mass start stages is checked by the organiser 10 minutes after the main group has passed. Riders outside this zone continue the race in full traffic.

The time limit may be adjusted for individual legs to take account of unforeseen circumstances.

Team leaders and competitors will be informed of any changes in the Judges' Notice and in the WhatsApp group.

Art. 10.

Race classifications:

10.1. Individual general classification by time:

The winner is the competitor with the best time in the total of the times achieved in the stages including bonuses and penalties.

In the event of a tie, the sum of the placings in the individual stages shall decide the order between the competitors. If the better position is still undecided, the last criterion is the position of the competitor in the last stage.

Bonifications awarded:

  • stage classification 10" - 6" - 4”.
  • intermediate sprints 3" - 2" - 1".


The leading rider of this classification wears yellow jersey, it is required to wear this jersey.

The 1st rider of the winning team in the team time trial enters stage 2 in the yellow jersey.

10.2. Points Competition:

The classification is calculated as the sum of points obtained in each stage and intermediate sprints.

2. stage - 3 intermediate sprints
3. stage - 2 intermediate sprints
4. stage - 1 intermediate sprint

During the intermediate sprints are awarded 3, 2, 1 point.
At the finish are points awarded as follows:
During the road stages is classified first 15 riders:
25, 20, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point
During the individual time trial is classified first 10 riders:
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 point.

The winner of this competition shall be the rider with the highest sum of points.
In the event of a tie during the points general classification competition decides following criteria in order:
  1. number of stage wins
  2. number of wins in intermediate sprints counting for the general classification on points
  3. general individual classification by time.

The leading rider of this classification wears green jersey, it is required to wear this jersey.

The 1st rider of the 2nd team in the team time trial enters stage 2 in the green jersey.

10.3. Mountain Competition:

The competition consists of 17 mountain premiums.

3. stage - 4 mountain premiums
4. stage - 6 mountain premiums

At the mountain premiums get first 4 riders 5, 3, 2 and 1 point.
The winner of this competition shall be the rider with the highest sum of points.
In the event of a tie during the mountain general classification competition decides following criteria in order:
  1. number of first places in the climbs
  2. general individual classification by time.

The leading rider of this classification wears polka dot jersey, it is required to wear this jersey.

The 1st rider of the 3rd team in the team time trial enters stage 2 in the polka dot jersey.

10. 4. Best rider WU23 Competition:

The winner of this competition shall be the rider year of born 2003 and younger.
The classification is made up of the individual general classification by time of riders WU23.
The leading rider of this classification wears white jersey, it is required to wear this jersey.

10.5. Best Czech rider Competition:

The winner of this competition shall be the rider with Czech nationality (or citizenship) best classified in the individual general classification by time.
The leading rider of this classification wears “czech national colours” jersey, it is required to wear this jersey.

10.6. Team competition:

The team classification for the day shall be calculated on the basis of the sum of the three best individual times from each team according to the 3 best times.
In the event of a tie during the teams classification on the stage decides the following criteria in order:

  1. sum of the places acquired by their three best times on the stage
  2. the placing of their best rider on the stage classification. 
The team general classification shall be calculated on the basis of the sum of the three best individual times from each team in each stage ridden.
In the event of a draw, the following criteria shall be applied in order until the teams are separated:
  1. number of first places in the daily team classifications
  2. number of second places in the daily team classifications etc.
  3. the placing of their best rider in the general individual classification.

Any team reduced to fewer than three riders shall be eliminated from the general team classification.

 

In and after Stage 1, the team that wins the team time trial is the overall leader of the team competition. 

 

10.7. The priority of the distinctive jerseys:

Prizes will be paid in EUR. 2 % will be deducted from the amount as an anti-doping contribution.
The winners of all competitions will receive a material prize.

Art. 12.

Anti-doping control:

The UCI's anti-doping control regulations will be applicable (by Chaperons).
The anti-doping control takes place at the finish of each stage – Krásná Lípa, Rumburk.
Anti-doping rooms will be marked.

Art. 13.

Awards ceremony:

As per article 1.2.112 of the UCI regulations shall concerned riders participate in official ceremonies. The ceremonies shall attend first 3 riders in the stage and the classifications leading riders.
The ceremony for first 3 riders in the stage will take place always within 15 minutes after their finishing!!!
At the final stage finish the overall awards ceremony will take place according to the timetable indicated in the race time schedule programe. First 5 riders of the general classification, winners of the secondary classifications and competitions, including best team shall attend this ceremony.
During the ceremony the riders get the material prizes.
The prize money will be sent to the team's bank account after the race.

Art. 14.

Penalties:

In the case of offenses, the commissaires’ panel will proceed in accordance with the UCI Penalty Scale, Article 2.12.007 of the UCI Regulations.


Art. 15.

Team vehicles:

The team vehicles dimensions must comply with the UCI Regulation, in case of non-compliance they will not be included in the convoy. All the vehicles accompanying the race are restricted to a maximum height of 1.66 m (not including roof bars). Prohibition of towing devices.
The driving order of the team vehicles for 2nd, 3rd and 4th stage shall be determined according to the position of the first rider of each team in the continuous general individual time classification.
In team time trial is allowed to follow each team with vehicle (also higher than 1.66 m).
The convoy numbers and printed results will be distributed by the commissaires at the start area at the signing sheets.
If a group of riders breaks away from the bunch, their follower vehicles may not slip in between the break-away riders and the following group without the authorisation of the commissaire. The bike change is allowed at the rear of her bunch at the right side of the road.


Art. 16.

Riders presentation:

Signature sheets will not be displayed during the individual time trial.

Riders shall be required to sign on the starting sheet at least 10 minutes before the start time at the assembly point. The sheets will be displayed 70 minutes before the start of the stage.
A rider who does not sign or has another person signed will be penalized according to the UCI Regulation.

Team presentation:

A teams’ presentation shall be required according to the time schedule at the podium before the time trial start on 8. 5. 2025, before the 3rd stage start at Rumburk on 10. 5. 2025 and before the 4th stage start at Varnsdorf on 11. 5. 2025. Team leaders will be informed about the order and time of team presentation in the Organizer's Communiqué.


Art. 17.

Course:

It will be signed with permanent panels on the right side of the road indicating:
kilometre zero (the real start), the thirtieth kilometre and then the last 25, 20, 10, 5, 4, 3 and 2 km points. The last kilometre shall be marked by a red triangle. Also the following distances from the finishing line: 500 m, 300 m, 200 m, 150 m, 100 m and 50 m.
The finish will be signed with the white/black tape on the road and the banner “FINISH”.
Each premium will be signed on the road prior the distances 1 km, 500 m, 200 m, 100 m and panels “PREMIE”.

Cíl 3. etapy nebude označen cílovou bránou, ale nafukovacími pilony po pravé a levé straně cílového úseku.

Časovka družstev bude značena od 10.km  každý kilometr do cíle.


 

Art. 18.

Feeding and green zones signposting:

Feeding zones will be signposted with the panels Start and End of the Feeding zone, exact place will be communicated at the sport directors meeting. The green zone will be always marked 1 km before to 500 m after the stationery feeding zone. Other places will be announced at the sport directors meeting.
